Your observation is very keen and I am wondering the same thing.
The Pennisula chocolate was from CX BKK-HKG inflight shop and Godiva gold box of chocolate was also from CX HKG-BKK inflight shop.
The Godiva truffles was given on KA KHH-HKG, but there was no any chocolate available on KA inflight shop!!!!!!
So it must be bought by ISM in airport duty free shop or somewhere else.
I should definately write a letter to MPC to thank her!! She was really really thoughtful!
