Waiting until two minutes before OLCI closes is, quite frankly, a very dangerous strategy. Not all airports support mobile boarding passes, so it may be necessary to print out a boarding pass at home/work first.
Waiting for OLCI was not a suggestion to do in every case, obviously. They failed to take advantage of as much as a month and as "little" as two days to check in online. It was a thought to do it right at the airport after being rebuffed. They failed to read and abide by the rules which must be somewhat expected in the EU with a litany of VLCC nabbing the dosh from passengers for everything with breathable air and a toilet all of which doubtlessly have the same pay to check in rules.
