It will be interesting to see how AC uses these. The trip cost of a 223 (i.e. absolute number of dollars it costs to operate a flight) is similar to that of an E90, so from that perspective, AC does see this as a replacement for the E90 - fly the same routes as the E90 and if you sell
any of the incremental ~32 seats, it's pure profit.
But yes, at 137 seats, the 223 sits between the 319 and 320. With a worse ratio of J and preferred seats than those two have. And a lot fewer preferred seats than the 7M8, which is about 30% preferred.

Do you mean YVR-ATL? A 221 seems a bit small for DL to run on a big hub-to-hub route like SEA-ATL.
