No, DL would not. Or more precisely, DL might face a lawsuit, but it would be dismissed fairly quickly.
This is imply one of those things where the burden falls on the parents. The self-righteous here might be a but less so if they were moved from a C+ bulkhead aisle to a middle seat near the rear lavs for a 10-hour flight. Or if they were in such a lousy seat and next in line for an UG to that nice-ish (for eco) seat.
