I would say that a large percentage of non-heavy business travellers who post heavily on FT will have chanced their arm on something at some point, to see what they could get away with. You should see the emails I get from readers asking my view on some idea they have. It is something you grow out of. There are, of course, different definitions of 'chancing your arm' .....
