1) I called to have my Old Program Cat 6 converted. Rep puts me on hold for 5 minutes and converts it to the New Program Cat 4. No issues.
2) Wife calls the next day, get someone who seems WOEFULLY untrained. She spends 5 minutes explaining what needs to be done. He puts her on hold while "he gets someone who knows what they're doing" to help. About 10 minutes later he tells her everything has been taken care of and she "has a new Category 5 certificate that expires in a year".

Checking her account this morning, she does has a Category 5 certificate and 80,000 fewer points. They credited 75,000 or the old cert and charged 155,000 for the new, higher category cert.

No, she did not. Are you sure it was 155k? That is completely outside our charts. Maybe she ordered the new higher price Cert? What she should have gotten was an NC5/QP91 for 105k points (30k extra points plus the 75k refund for the old OC6). I would call back and get it fixed. They need to cancel and refund the 155k boat anchor and issue you a QP91/NC5 for 105k points.
