All airline employees in jobs designated as safety sensitive fall under the DOT drug testing program which includes pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and post-incident testing. This includes pilots, flight attendants, mechanics, dispatchers, and many other work groups.
The union wouldn't want to test its members, but the union would want to have a say in the employer's drug testing policies and procedures.
