Very strange service protocol. FC FA seemed to be jumping around the cabin based on status including offering some of the Kosher side dishes to someone in front of me because the Kosher pre-order moved to a different flight. Even drinks in-flight were delivered strangely with no rhyme or reason to row or seat.
Had the same experience on a SAN-MSP flight a week or so ago. They came through the cabin and confirmed with those who pre-ordered including myself. Then when bringing out the food they jumped around a lot. Ended up being the last person served. I am a FO so the status idea makes sense. Only thing that was a bummer was they ran out of bagels by the time they got to me. Rest of the flight went off without a hitch besides that.
