Update for y'all.

I did see the belt for dropping off connecting baggage. Thanks for letting me know there was one before you leave the airport BUT they seriously need to bloody change how this airport functions - it is a NIGHTMARE!

I feel like the French (no offense) have become so lazy they made the airport to be efficient for the operation of it from their perspective, of which the trade-off was dumping the burden on the passenger to do all of the work.

At YYZ if you are inbound from the EU or Japan and transferring to a domestic flight your bags are automatically checked through and also transferred behind the scenes - all you have to do is pass through customs and connect. At YUL, you have to go to an automated kiosk, hand the printout to a CBSA agent (not that many of them as YYZ used to have for example), go pick up your bags, pass through the final CBSA agent, drop your bag, run upstairs to go to 'departures', pass through security AGAIN, and depending on the location of your gate, you could have a super long walk to it. TOTALLY INEFFICIENT!!! Not to mention they have multiple baggage belts but decide to put 4 inbound flights from tourist destinations of high-volume checked-baggage and it took 45 mins for me to get my bloody bags. I managed to make my flight somehow after all that effort but my bags didn't (got stuck waiting for the next flight arrival at YTZ for them to show up).
