On AA when you waitlist for an upgrade (points+$) and it goes through, whatever you paid for an extra legroom seat gets refunded. Is this the case with CX too?

Gonna answer my own question for anybody in the future who might have the same one.....according to CX's FAQs, if an upgrade bid is successful, any costs for seat assignments will be credited.
