DL could offer KL/AF network coverage out of their brand new SEA hub. AA not so much- in fact they can't be arsed to keep JFK-SEA a going concern all the time, it looks like it's
going seasonal or completely away.

Except you have a huge hole for JL/CX/QF/BA in the northwest, which is a huge Asian market in itself. Not to mention the first two just started direct flights to SEA, I can't see them saying ya lets just cut all connections because AA is on something again.
And QF probably has SEA on their shortlist, and BA probably has PDX on
some list.
How's AA going to help JL/CX/QF/BA network coverage out of SEA/SFO/SJC/SAN if they start leaning on everyone in OW to drop AS, realistically? Yeah, they have LAX, but that doesn't help much in those other markets.
