DL could offer KL/AF network coverage out of their brand new SEA hub. AA not so much- in fact they can't be arsed to keep JFK-SEA a going concern all the time, it looks like it's going seasonal or completely away.

And QF probably has SEA on their shortlist, and BA probably has PDX on some list.

How's AA going to help JL/CX/QF/BA network coverage out of SEA/SFO/SJC/SAN if they start leaning on everyone in OW to drop AS, realistically? Yeah, they have LAX, but that doesn't help much in those other markets.
