Delta will arrange a flight attendant with ASL (similar for BA)
This was just posted on the Delta section, but it should be mentioned here, too!

Delta Regional Partner Flight Attendant Goes Above and Beyond for Deaf Passenger

Apparently with 12 week notice, Delta will arrange to have a flight attendant on board, someone who is fluent in ASL (American Sign Language).
Someone else mentioned that BA may do something similar.

KUDOS to them, if this is true.
