Likely would avoid patong all together unless theres some reason to go see it during the day. Everything I’ve read about it, just not our scene at all.
Nai Harn and Rawai are now really just one big area. Best hotel would be The Nai Harn but not up to Amanpuri level, the beach is nice and few shops and local restaurants within walking distance. Better hotels are north of Patong.
