At least thats the story FA gave me, (I'm sitting in D1 and all seats were ocuppied), saw him escorted out by delta employees and not law enforcement so cant have been too much commotion.

We are about to take off again now for Tokyo...hopefully no more issues.

I wonder, can I ask for any miles or compensation
I know it was outside their control.
Perhaps his giraffe took his other D1 seat.
