LGA DFW flight to try A220?

I am very tempted to book myself a round trip LGA to DFW to experience Delta's new A220.

Wonder if the good folks here could give pointers on the following:

1) Is this the best route to experience DL A220 (NYC based)? I see JFK on the schedule later in the year also but LGA is closer to me.

2) Is F worth it? Seatguru legroom shows 36in which isn't great for F. But price difference is around $100 each way, which for a 4 hour flight isn't too bad.

3) Is doing an overnight worth it to be able to check out the AA museum? The Grand Hyatt DFW looks nice and has runway view rooms.

This would be primarily to experience the A220, museum would a bonus. I've been to Dallas before and seen most of the major tourist stuff so I normally wouldn't mind a same-day turnaround except I want to check out the AA museum (which would make same day turn tight!)

Thank you all
