Sounds like you'll be switching from your AA number (entered to book 1A) to your AS number (to earn miles).
You'll want to switch the FQTV numbers fairly late (maybe in the lounge at IAD, with boarding pass reprint) or you could potentially have 1A taken away from you before check-in, if Emerald status is no longer showing on the booking.
