have not tried the Lydmar but had a beautiful renovated suite on my last stay at the Grand and yes the hotel is old, but the suite was beautifully done with all the modern amenities, and a lovely view of the harbor. Maybe I’ll try the Lydmar next time, but I honestly was quite happy with the Grand despite its age.
