Hand-baggage only, and checked-in online, you'll be fine unless there is very significant delay. Airside transfers are pretty straight-forward, although the security line for the bus transfer gates (should your flight be so allocated) can get a bit messy at busy times: but if things get tight, call on the assistance of ground staff to help.

I think we are going to need to check bags in MLE for our Korean flight as I have little faith my wife would pack light enough for a 10 day trip to allow for a carry on.. I think we are going to need to enter Sri Lanka, collect our bags and check in to our next flight.
