why would you want to? does the particular property you are looking at have some kind of per/day fee? if not, i'd just book out past your plans, not worry about check out time on your last day, and bank the extra elite nights.
As I mentioned previously, I'd like to apply SNAs to the reservation and would like to avoid wasting the extra nights of SNAs that I would be using. Also, there's a greater likelihood the SNAs will clear on shorter reservations.
