Except that it isn't.

Corporate rates are a business-to-business matter and subject to a contract between the two businesses. That contract will specify whether and how the property is to handle date exclusions and the like as well as the employer's remedies.

One also presumes that it is OP's employer which is ultimately tagged for the higher rate and thus for it to determine what to do.
