Im confused. You complain about the DIRECT flight costs Canada-Oz... and claim certain ONE stop routes would somehow be 'almost as good".... but there are MANY one stops already.. SYD-AKL-YVR on NZ for a start...not to mention all the options via LAX/SFO (and Asia) Why would transiting Samoa magically be better???
