I assume you are also looking at Expertflyer, since you cannot tell blocks via BA.com. I would definitely go for 5A now, see my post and photo above (though that's 5K). If the empty seat is that important for you then you better go further back into the second cabin, the first cabin is more likely to fill up. However to and from LAS, BA generally fills CW quite easily.
It's the Gatwick flight so only seems to go to row 11 max. Small really.
Row 5 might be a good shout - but is the galley not irksome? I've found it really noisy in the past.
Also can't work out engine position at the moment as I found that particularly bothersome on another 777 in a window seat fairly near to the engine.
Neighbouring empty isn't an essential, just prefer to avoid strange adjacent glances and the leg-jumping hoo-ha from pax in front (as applicable).
