Overcharged by Priceline and was told by PL to charge back?
I booked a flight ticket on Suriname Air via Priceline. The final charge posted today and it was charged directly by the airline.
However, the charge was $10 higher than my invoice. There is another pre-authorization for the correct price and it hasnt fallen off yet.
I found it odd and phoned Priceline. The first agent said I didn't call within 24 hours of booking and they wouldnt do anything about it.
Asked for a supervisor who phoned the airline and admitted that both PL and airline showed records of lower price.
Again, nothing can be done on their part - both PL and airline told me to charge back through CC.
It is not worthwhile for me to waste more time on the 10 bucks, but it is totally ridiculous. How a big company like PL even allow things like this? Isn't this fraud?
