I successfully managed to price match the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok, but the hotel keep changing my name from Mr. x to Ms. x and changing the rate back to the original non-price matched one on multiple occasions. After contacting the best price team they changed my name back to how it should be (Mr.) but the hotel changed it again to ms. The best price guarantee team are now saying they will contact the hotel to get them to change my name back again and change the price to the approved price match claim price and it feels like they (the hotel) are doing this to avoid having to settle with the priced match rate.
The best price guarantee team said that there is nothing they can do from there side apart from email the hotel and try get them to change it back but it feels like the hotel are doing this on purpose.
Does anyone have any other suggestions on what I can do? , as they shouldn't be allowed to do this.
