Was upgraded to a premium room at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort on a recent stay. Was proactively upgraded by front desk staff. Very friendly and thanked me for my loyalty. I believe it was the top tier non-suite room available. I made a review a month or so ago on the forum.

I would call ahead and have it noted as a preference and then firmly but respectively request at check-in. As an Explorist, it is one of your earned benefits.
