Exactly. I work near the airport so it is very easy for me to stop by after work and take care of this. One advantage to paper vouchers is that if you have a large voucher, each time you use part of it the one year date resets so you can string out a big voucher over a long period of time.
Echo this. I always use the AAngels in the Admiral's Club to redeem mine.
