How does the Mint seat compare to the J seats on the legacy carriers? From Private Mint suite: so so experience it does not seem to be as good a seat. I'd be flying with a companion and book the two together rather than the suites.

My main point of comparison is TATL lie flat J. I haven't flown a domestic TCON in quite a while.

EDIT: I'm specifically concerned with the seat, not other aspects of mint, and am concerned about the suggestion in the linked post that the seat will only go into a few positions rather than being adjustable throughout its range.
