Conrad Tokyo 5th Night Free, Different Room on One Night
I want to make a 5 night reservation at the Conrad Tokyo using my HH points (arriving on a Wednesday and departing on Monday). I understand the 5th night will be free (actually a 20% discount for each night). The problem is that a standard king room is not available on that Sunday night. It is available for the remainder of the nights. The standard twin is not available for that Saturday night, but it is available for the other nights.
I wouldn't mind changing room on the last night (Sunday) from a king to a twin. However, the HH agent told me I won't be able to get the 5th night free because I would be changing from a king room to a twin room for the last night.
Is there any way around this?
