Should be fine doing what you want:
accruing into program A on the booking
show physical *G card of program B
Air NZ wont now allow this. So I cannot accrue to NZ (no status) and show my TG *G card for alliance benefits - very grumpy as it seems to defy the point of *A rules. However, Air NZ are fine if I want to accrue to another (*A) program.
Friends have told me *A want to ‘fix’ what is seen by some as double-dipping. I see it as the benefit of *A, otherwise what is the point?
