I requested a flight change with AA over the phone but they said as i'm requesting a voluntary change it would be $200ea, errr no thanks! I know AA are pretty good at rebooking but surely they shouldn't be allow this to have remained ticketed (the flight times changed from when i made the original booking and I had 1h 20m to connect). They also said that even though it was less than LAX's MCT it would be fine. Do i go back and force a change, or is 37min enough to get from T4 to T5 with some quick walking/possible run?
HUCA and try another agent(s). The schedule change alone should be enough to get a free change. Although not recommended, 37 minutes is doable as long as your inbound is on time and you are not sitting at the back of the plane on PHX-LAX. In the event of a misconnect, AA will rebook but there is no guarantee that you will get a good seat.
