I picked up some nice videos of the arrival at NRT done by Japanese plane spotters.

The arrival ceremony at the foot of the plane was very modest. They unrolled a Turquoise carpet on a wet tarmac. Could not really hear the speeches due to strong winds in the reporter's microphone.

I have seen night pictures taken by plane spotters outside by the hangars there is very good lighting.

Any idea what the crew training flights schedules will be like? They've got to take the plane out on crew familiarisation runs. She will not stay idle on the ground waiting 2 months. I suppose they will have crew training flights with passengers on board maybe in Japan or even outside Japan, maybe Taipei or some other not too far away destination.

I suppose Number Two Honu will be in Japan by 24 May. I wish they could have her for the Paris Air Show in June but it's unlikely. Maybe Number 3? That would make a most spectacular flying displays during trade days!!!

My guesses for training flights would be KIX domestic, and Shanghai, Hong Kong a d Beijing International. I doubt Gimpo and Taipei (both TSA and TPE) can handle an A380, so these would be the shortest International routes as ANA does not go to Incheon
