First, welcome to Flyertalk.

Overbookings occur. MARSHA (Marriott's system) might have oversold the property, in which case a guest (or more than one) has to be relocated to a different property. Or something might be wrong with a room(s) & they had to take it out of service, which means they're short a room(s) & have to relocate someone to a different property.

Unless they told you that you are the only one whose reservation is being canceled, you have no way of knowing if other people's reservations have not been canceled & are simply speculating that you are being singled out. Is there a particular reason that you think they are being racist?

You don't say what your elite level with w/ Marriott, but usually in oversold situations the property does everything it can to avoid walking Ambassadors/Titaniums/Platinums/Golds because of the penalties. If your elite number was in the reservation, the ultimate reservation guarantee comes into effect. They should relocate you to a different property & pay for the first night. Depending on your status, there may be a $100/200 payment & possibly 90,000 points being deposited into your account. Because you are on a points stay vs. a paid stay, payment for the first night doesn't come into play per se.

If your two business class flights are non-refundable & the hotel cannot accommodate you, tell them they need to relocate you to a comparable property for the same amount of points that you're using for their property. At this point you're not going to be staying there, so the most immediate thing to do is to get a room at a different property since your flights are non-refundable. Do not yell racism, as that's less likely to get them to help you (they should anyway, but saying they're racist means they might not go out of their way/go the extra mile).

You can also ask for extra points as compensation for the inconvenience, but the most important thing at this point is to get another comparable hotel for the same amount of points.

Good luck!

Cheers.
