I looked at the Delta Fare breakdown on some other site and from what I could gather there were only two fares that allow SWU / GUC ? Maybe that info is outdated?
Any fare other than E is eligible for a certificate sponsored upgrade. Again, you'll be fine to use the certificate booking on chase.
