I just called about changing an AUS-DFW-ORD flight to an AUS-ORD flight on a new date, and the rep said there would be a $150 fee if you change from a connecting flight to nonstop. Is this correct or HUCA?

Edit: Called again and went through fine. First guy must have been new and playing it safe.
