Ah... We're going to Europe this summer too, but awards going over and TAP coming back through BOS. I saw those Norwegian flights but I don't trust them either. I don't know much about TAP but they seemed to offer a balance between budget and actually being a serious airline. (Serious enough to be in an alliance anyway.) Nothing fancy...five of us in coach...but they had good one-way fares if you're willing to accept a connection in LIS.
