I would go so far as to say that 1D, F and L, along with 11A and L, are the worst seats in the cabin. (Though 1D may not be awful if the FAs don't use the shelf in front as a snack station on your flight.)
I sat in 11L and felt pretty good. No noise from lav whatsoever. Very private, felt enclosed, no one behind me taking a peek as to what I'm doing.
