I'm sorry that QF J sucks. Was it difficult finding the MH flights in business suites? I did KUL->LHR F 2 or 3 years ago and had a great experience (true F). This past January's trip, I wanted a MH F (business suite) flight, but I found no award availability (and no J availability for inter-Asia flights). It seems that MH is very stingy with award availability.
LOL. Thanks very much lamphs. Unfortunately, since the announced the F to BS change, MH First Class (Business Suites) award seats have not available to partners, at least to AA. EF shows plenty of P availability but P is now revenue not award, presumably the issue here. I booked my flight prior to the change so was grandfathered in.

Thanks adampenrith. That sounds just like me years ago when I lived in Canada. I loathed Air Canada (and still do) and would fly anything other than AC.

Thank you fotographer. I have the smile about your wife's comments. Same thing with Mrs. SFO777. She can't understand anyone that would watch a movie you've already see. I can watch a lot of movies over and over again, like Taken, The Foreigner, Bourne series, etc...

After the satay, the Hokey Pokey (sorry for the typo earlier) was indeed the highlight of the meal. Thanks ironmanjt.

From wikipedia, Hokey pokey is a flavour of ice cream in New Zealand, consisting of plain vanilla ice cream with small, solid lumps of honeycomb toffee. Hokey pokey is the New Zealand term for honeycomb toffee.
