Yes indeed, there are two levels of wheelchair assistance - to the door or to the seat.
Possibly you can also arrange with wheelchair handlers in Paris to board towards the end of boarding ISO board first, however, that will mean all the other late boarding issues like carryon bag space, having to maybe climb across other, already seated pax... etc.

Also do remember not to book exit rows. You (or just your mother) will be moved.
