You know what might be handy for newcomers? A FT glossary of all the terms peculiar to this website -- don't know what forum it would be in (maybe it's already there) -- but wouldn't it be helpful. For example:

metal: an aircraft, esp. to mean an aircraft flown & operated by a particular airline ("NW metal")

mileage run: a flight or routing taken for the primary purpose of accumulating miles/points, instead of for the destination ("Can anyone suggest an AA mileage run for under $200 from MCI?")


Etc. etc., you can add your own. Does anything like this exist? Where would it go?
