It sounds like you are trying to just "get a visa" and come to the USA. It really doesn't work that way. The best thing is to talk to an immigration lawyer or at least put your name in for the green card lottery. Get the legal work visa first, then worry abut the rest.
You will need health insurance as the health care is very expensive in the USA.
