AmEx Travel 24 Hour Cancellation
I do not know if this is the proper forum, but given it's AmEx I thought I would start here.
I know when booking through airlines policies vary but I am interested in AmEx Travel's policy of cancelling a flight within 24 hours of booking if the flight is less than 24 hours away. The agent I spoke with when I called in didn't know for sure but she thought the cutoff was cancelling at least 4 hours before the flight, and that you cannot have checked in for the flight.
Does anyone know the rules on this? If I book the tickets online am I able to cancel them without paying some sort of agent fee assuming I have to call in to cancel them? I'm guessing I cannot just cancel them online?
