That’s fine, you can use fat track together. You can either go via connections fast track (far right of connections) or exit landside and up to go through security (north fast track is usually quieter).
Just to clarify - will the companion's own boarding pass work in the machines, or do you have to ask one of the staff to let you through? I've always asked when I've got a companion, but it just occurred to me that it might work automatically!
