The main point was about the necessity of a basic research, not the specific provider. So after 5 second effort when even ever inaccurate seatguru have showed 2-2-2 config did nevertheless rang a bell to be more careful in making consumer choices.
Since Seatguru is known to be out of date, checking it is worse than doing nothing, as it leads one to believe something likely to be false. Check EF, or call QR, or tweet QR, sure. But Seatguru is less likely to be right than is a blogger.
