Seatguru is not an accurate seat map. Seatguru is better for comparing the various configurations that might be operated by the airlines. If you read this thread you will see many, many people expressing alarm at how inaccurate seatguru is, especially for QR flights, and many, many people explaining that seatguru uses a static database. You will also see many, many posts explaining that expertflyer shows the specific configuration loaded by QR (even with the free seat alert function), so it is as accurate as possible. However, in all cases, as countless posts have explained repeatedly, QR is known for changing configurations frequently, so the configuration loaded for a specific flight today might be different later today or tomorrow or next week, etc. As has also been explained here, expertflyer offers as part of its paid subscription service an aircraft change alert that will notify you when the seat map or aircraft changes.
