While Six Senses did some (or letīs say one) big failures in the past and most resorts are special itīs nevertheless an interesting brand.
The huge Seychelles incident aside, Six Senses' more recent resorts are interesting from a design perspective certainly. The old extremely rustic look (Yao Noi, Samui etc) seems to have gone to a more sophisticated (but sitll woody heavy/somewhat rustic) look with cleaner likes - see Seychelles itself, Bhutan, Krabey Island. The resorts also tend to have a proper hotel pool, which the old hotels didn't have/weren't built with (initially).

Fiji probably the exception to the rule somewhat, along with the new opening in Israel although not as many photos there.

Also, maybe the two random city hotel openings in Singapore now make sense...will they be rebranded as other IHG brands? It still doesn't fit in with the Six Senses brand overall.
