I think Unless there is a CX flight number on the ticket you will not get MPC credit but you should get Asia miles regardless

Cathay pacific experts should be able to give more advice

Thanks for your reply! The flights I wanted were both CX metal (one is KA metal, if it matters) with CA flight numbers. So based on the replies so far, it seems that such flights will only qualify for a reduced Asia Miles credits and no MPC benefits at all?
