Try booking it on Orbitz or another OTA. If it tickets there, then you are good. In that case, there is no way that HA is going to change or cancel your ticket after the fact.
If you are still nervous or unconvinced, and since Orbitz offers 24 hour cancellation, why not try to book it there and see what happens.
