Also, question for the frequent visitors, any recommendation for a hotel in Hulhumale? We are arriving in from SIN at around 10.20pm and I'd rather stay near the airport rather than to rush to the resort for a late-night check-in. Partially, I'm an avgeek and am really looking forward to the seaplane transfers (despite the ridiculous cost).
I'm targeting something that has a reliable airport shuttle and costs less than $100/night.
We stayed here when coming from SIN in December 2016. They did a pick up from MLE and dropped us back there the next morning after breakfast. The conrad called H78 and confirmed our Seaplane transfer time (we were on the first plane out).

The rooms were small and basic but comfortable we would happily stay again.
