1) was your FHR letter just like post 930?

2) did your amex 5x MR FHR prepay code as "AMEX FINE HOTELS RES"?

3) a few DPs mention amex 5x MR FHR prepay does NOT get any credit automatically for mlife/hyatt (nights or points) for the amex prepay portion. since you had to send in the folio to your glob concierge, does that mean nothing posted automatically for you (except for the remaining balance paid upon checkout)? in many cases, 5x MR is huge vs hyatt points, but for longer stays and expensive rooms, not getting any mlife credit hurts. but at least you can send the folio in for hyatt night credits and i hope that qualifies for hyatt promos as well.

4) did you try settling the folio without an amex? i know its YMMV based on FD agent, but curious how strict they are.

5) was your $150 upgrade for the Chairman's Lounge Experience? helps to know for vegas properties you can book FHR then pay for an upgrade without issues.

6) i assume the $60 FHR breakfast credit was $30 x 2? good to know its a flexible credit that can be applied to all dining. i believe most FHR letters state which specific restaurants have to be used for the brkfst credit. sounds like they are not being super strict about that. maybe thats YMMV.

1) at delano i didn't have a letter because it was an mlife comp. but my bellagio letter was similar to post 930, except that it specified a few venues for breakfast, and the $100 was listed as spa-only

2) yes it did

3) correct, nothing posted automatically. i don't chase casino status so i have no idea whether any of my mlife tier credits were from the prepaid amex hotel spend. (last year, i only had 1,000 tier credits and they comped me the other 199k to keep the platinum status i'd earned the previous year -- so after that, i'm not inclined to care about earning it)

4) i had no reason to, so no

5) no, i was just negotiating an upgrade from a basic non-view room to a suite with a fountain view. i was negotiating this at the front desk (and wasn't going to use a lounge) but given that it was a long weekend and a popular fight weekend, i was very happy with $150 when the delta in room rates was far more than that

6) yes, $30 x 2. but YMMV -- for all i know, mine was a glitch. my letter specified 4 or 5 venues that served breakfast. they might have loosened up on me only because they agreed to use the spa credit towards F&B as well. or because i was playing $250/hand blackjack. i have no idea.
