Conrad is definitely in a better spot. You can be to downtown Seoul via Line 5 or take a cab 15-20 mins. Line 9 will take you to Gangnam as well. The IC in next to COEX and sort of near Cheongdam but that's about it.
Also great for the airport bus. Second stop inbound to the hotel, next to last stop outbound to the airport.
